Repeat prescriptions

Click here to order your repeat prescription online

Medicine that has been set up for you to request as a repeat prescription can be ordered in several ways. These medicines will usually be printed on the right-hand side of your prescription.

SystmOnline

SystmOnline has just been introduced into the surgery. This new system not only provides an improved method of ordering your repeat prescriptions on-line, but it also allows you to access a number of other services such as on-line appointment bookings and cancellations.

In order to gain access to SystmOnline, please bring some form of identification (something with your photograph on, such as a passport or a new-style driving licence) into the surgery so that we can issue you with a user name and password.

Once you have a user name and password, you can access SystmOnline by clicking on this link

By Telephone

Please note that, as from 4 June, you will be asked to leave your prescription request on a voicemail. You will be asked for your name, date of birth, the item(s) you require and the dose.

Please note, however, that you can also order prescriptions through our on-line services. Please see item regarding SystmOnline above.

Please allow three working days for the prescription to be ready.

By Post

Please allow at least 3 working days of receipt of your request. Please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope if you would like us to post your prescription to you. Alternatively the chemist will collect your prescription and deliver your medicine for you on request. Please be sure to include a contact telephone number should there be any queries.

Electronic Prescription Service

We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically from 05 March 2020.

Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.

You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.

Read more about EPS on the NHS website.

Choosing Electronic Prescriptions will save you time, save NHS funds and help the environment.

Please ask at the surgery or Pharmacy for more details.
